Belthangady Mahila Cong files police complaint against MLA Harish Poonja for remarks on Siddaramaiah

Belthangady: The Belthangady Mahila Congress rural unit has lodged a formal police complaint seeking action against Beltangady MLA Harish Poonja for his controversial remarks about Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Poonja allegedly made the contentious statement during a felicitation program organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Kinyamma Yane Gunavati Amma Hall in Belthangadi on May 22.

 


Dakshina Kannada: Three injured as BJP, Bajrang Dal workers clash with Congress workers in Vitla

Vitla: Violence was reported in Mani as a clash broke out between members of Bajrang Dal, BJP workers, and Congress workers. The incident resulted in injuries to Mahendra, an organizer of Bajrang Dal in Peraje, and Prashant Naik, a BJP activist. Both individuals are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Puttur.
