Indian Naval Ships Kochi and Tabar reach New Mangalore Port with oxygen & critical medical supplies

Mangaluru: A day after INS Kolkata brought 27 tonnes of oxygen and other essential material for COVID-19 treatment from Qatar and Kuwait, two more Indian Naval ships, Kochi and Tabar, reached New Mangalore Port on Tuesday with critical supplies including 100 tonnes of oxygen, a defence official said.

Dakshina Kannada begins COVID vaccination for 18-44 age group

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday extended its COVID vaccination drive for the people aged between 18-44. In the initial phase, the drive is being carried only at District Wenlock Hospital and four Taluk hospitals across the district.

 

INS Kolkata arrives at New Mangalore Port with medical supplies from Qatar and Kuwait

Mangaluru: In support of the fight against Covid-19 and as part of the Indian Navy's ongoing operation 'Samudra Setu II', INS Kolkata arrived at New Mangalore Port on Monday carrying critical medical supplies including liquid medical oxygen from Qatar and Kuwait, a defence official said.
