COVID-19 death toll in country rises to 56, cases to 2,301

The number of COVID-19 cases climbed to 2,301 in the country on Wednesday while the death toll rose to 56, according to the Union Health Ministry.

Kasargod: 8 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed

Kasargod: As many as eight people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the district on Thursday, taking the total tally of such cases to 128 in the district. With five cases in Idukki, two in Kollam, and one each in Thiruvananthapuram, Pattananthitta, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur today. In all Kerala reported 21 confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.

Do not admit Kerala patients in Dakshina Kannada hospitals: DHO issues circular

Mangauru: With the backdrop of the increasing coronavirus cases in the state of Kerala, the District Health and Family Welfare Department has issued a circular instructing not to admit any patients of Kerala in Dakshina Kannada district hospitals.
