Police constable suspended for manhandling chief temple priest in Subramanya during lockdown

Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police, Laxmi Prasad on Monday suspended a constable attached to Subramanya Police Station for manhandling the chief priest of Kukke Subramanya Temple on Saturday.

Till now 161 people test negative to COVID-19 in DK district

Mangaluru: District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary said that so far 182 persons' throat swabs were sent for testing in Dakshina Kannada district, of which seven persons have been tested positive for coronavirus and remaining 161 have been tested negative.

Udupi: Two new coronavirus positive cases reported in District

Udupi: Two more new cases of COVID-19 were on Sunday reported in Udupi District as the results of the samples sent for testing returned positive.
