Mangaluru: After flight services to international destinations including Saudi, Qatar and Kuwait to and from Mangaluru International Airport took hit owing to the Corona Virus scare across the world, the airport has now altered its schedule of domestic flights as well and flights to various domestic destinations have been temporarily discontinued.

District Qazi Bekal Ibrahim Musliyar has called for appropriate precautions in the wake of the widespread outbreak of coronavirus in the religious activities including the weekly Friday prayers, adding that the weekly Friday prayers should be completed quickly.

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Sindhu Rupesh on Tuesday announced that all the activities at the religious centres across the District will be suspended until further notice in the wake of spread of Corona Virus in the state.

Mangaluru: Consultant Physician at Spandana Centre for Metabolic Medicine, Dr. Srinivas Kakkilaya in a Facebook post predicted that the Coronavirus cases are like to increase substantially over the next 3 – 6 weeks and will reach stage 3 and 4 despite best efforts to contain the infected persons and their contacts.
