The witnesses in the businessman Bhaskar Shetty murder case have received threatening calls. A complaint against this was registered at the town police station.

A youth died after coming in contact with a live electrical wire that was lying on the ground at Uliya in Ullal. The deceased has been identified as Ashok D'Souza (28). The incident occurred near the Dharmarasara area yesterday.
