CBI seeks Karnataka government's sanction to prosecute 3 officials in IMA Ponzi scheme case

Bengaluru: The CBI has sought sanction from the Karnataka government to prosecute an IAS officer and two others in connection with the IMA Ponzi scheme, in which lakhs of people were duped after promising high returns using Islamic way of investment, the agency sources said.

 


COVID-19: 204 new cases and 3 more deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 204 new cases of COVID-19 and three related fatalities, taking the total number of infections in the state to 6,245 and the toll to 72, the health department said on Thursday.
