Karnataka CM says decision on removing Tipu from history textbooks soon; Siddaramaiah responds

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Wednesday asserted that the State Government will not allow Tipu Jayanti celebrations in the state. He further added he will take a decision soon on the proposal to remove Tipu Sultan’s history from the textbooks of state syllabus.
