The monsoon session of the Kanataka Legislative Assembly commenced today amidst political upheaval, with opposition BJP and JDS leaders staging protests against the state government.


Five women arrested in Shivamogga gold jewelry theft case

Five women have been arrested in connection with the theft of gold jewelry from a vanity bag on a KSRTC bus. The arrested individuals are Shanti alias Karki (31) from Hosamane Bhadravati, Meenakshi (38) from Hanumanta Nagar, Savitri alias Baba (29), Durga alias Sunna Durga (29), and Sushilamma (66) from Bhovi Colony.
