Madikeri: Amid heavy rains in the district, and rivers overflowing, Kodagu Deputy Commissioner Venkat Raja issued orders declaring a rain holiday for educational institutes on July 18.

Director General & Inspector General of Police (DG & IGP) and Head of the Police Force (HoPF) Alok Mohan issued a series of comprehensive guidelines that all police personnel are required to follow.
