Farmers' register protest against Dasara Celebrations, block Mysuru-Bengaluru expressway; Detained

Mysuru: Farmers, led by Kuruburu Shanthakumar, the State President of the Karnataka State Sugarcane Growers' Association, were taken into custody by local police as they protested against the celebration of Mysuru Dasara.

 


Forest officers arrest wildlife smugglers in Bandipur National Park

Forest officers led by Range Forest Officer Naveen Kumar have arrested two individuals involved in the illegal hunting and smuggling of wild animals at Bandipur National Park. The arrests were made near the Basappa Temple in a targeted operation aimed at dismantling the smuggling network operating within the park.

Three arrested in Congress councilor's murder case in Kolar

In a significant breakthrough, the Vemagal Police have apprehended three out of six suspects involved in the heinous murder of Congress Srinivaspur Taluk President and former President of the Kolar Zilla Panchayat, Srinivas, popularly known as Councillor Srinivas.
