In a significant breakthrough, the Vemagal Police have apprehended three out of six suspects involved in the heinous murder of Congress Srinivaspur Taluk President and former President of the Kolar Zilla Panchayat, Srinivas, popularly known as Councillor Srinivas. The Congress leader was brutally attacked by a group of six men wielding lethal weapons in Srinivaspur on Sunday, tragically succumbing to his injuries at Jalappa Hospital in Kolar.
