The Delhi High Court has dismissed a plea challenging the appointment of senior IAS officer Nidhi Chhibber as the chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), saying she has the qualification for the post.

The actor's plea is yet to be heard.

Bengaluru: The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department took action on Thursday by issuing separate suspension orders for 27 Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, and Junior Engineers working within the department. These suspensions were made in response to the officers' dereliction of duty as they failed to report to their newly assigned transfer posts.
