Belthangady: In a new development in the ongoing Dharmasthala case, a second complainant, Jayant T, has officially filed a complaint at the Dharmasthala police station, stating that he had witnessed a dead body of a young woman being buried illegally in the Dharmasthala village.

Belthangady: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Monday completed a search operation near the Netravati river bathing ghat in the presence of the key witness and complainant in the case. The team returned with sealed samples believed to be human remains.

A new development has emerged in the ongoing search for bodies near the Netravathi bathing ghat in Dharmasthala. Today, the key complainant led the SIT team to a new location, where suspicions have arisen about the discovery of human remains.

Just as excavation work was about to begin at the 11th identified spot in the Dharmasthala case, the complainant unexpectedly led the SIT team away from the marked site and deep into the surrounding forest.

New allegations have surfaced in the ongoing Dharmasthala case, targeting one of the investigating officers, Manjunath Gowda. Advocate Manjunath N., representing Sujatha Bhat, the mother of missing medical student Ananya Bhat, has claimed that Gowda allegedly coerced the main witness and complainant into altering his statement, even recording the manipulated testimony on his mobile phone.
