Social media user found spreading hate messages; Puttur Police file suo motu case

A suo motu case has been filed by Puttur Town Police against a social media user who was allegedly sharing messages with an intention of giving rise to communal clashes.

 


Three human remains found near site 11 in Dharmasthala case: Advocate for Sujatha Bhat

In a press release issued on Tuesday, Advocate Manjunath N, representing Sujatha Bhat, the mother of missing MBBS student Ananya Bhat, claimed that at least three human remains were exhumed on Monday from a forested hillock near “Site Number 11” in Dharmasthala. One of the remains is believed to be that of a woman. A saree was also recovered from the site.
