A software engineer lost his life in a road accident at Padannakkad, under the Hosdurg police station limits, on Sunday night.

Udupi Superintendent of Police Dr. K Arun has informed that two men accused of kidnapping and raping a girl in the Karkala Town Police jurisdiction on Friday evening have been arrested.
