The Pandeshwar police have arrested four individuals for allegedly harassing and abusing a woman at a pub in the Pandeshwar area of Mangaluru. The accused, identified as Mahesh (28), Vinay (30), Nitesh (32), and Pritesh (33), are residents of Puttur.

Two youngsters were seriously injured after their two-wheeler collided with a parked bus near Manjunath petrol station in Kinnimulki, Udupi.

A young woman fell ill on a private bus traveling from Shirva to Udupi this morning. The incident occurred on a private bus named Naveen shortly after it passed the old taluk office in Udupi. The woman reportedly experienced chest pain, vomited, and lost consciousness.

The Udupi Additional District POCSO Special Court has sentenced Sachin Pujari (26), a resident of Kota, to 37 years of rigorous imprisonment for the abduction and sexual assault of a minor girl in 2022.
