Karnataka Police have arrested two employees of a shipyard in Udupi on charges of spying for Pakistan, setting off a major security alert along the coastal belt.

Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Mangalore, organised a motivational session titled “Building Winners Mindset” for first-year engineering students on Friday at the International Seminar Hall. The programme was hosted by the institute’s Research and Development Cell and the Department of Basic Science.

 The SIT investigating the allegations of multiple murders, rapes and burials in the temple town of Dharmasthala, has submitted the charge sheet before a court in Dakshina Kannada district, police sources said.
