Police have arrested a 70-year-old man for allegedly sharing a WhatsApp message that could incite attacks against innocent people in Mangaluru, officials said.

A 62-year-old man was injured in a leopard attack at Andeermaru in Kaniyadi-1 village of Belthangady taluk on Friday morning.

Manipal Police have arrested two persons in connection with the theft of a scooter parked near the Manipal Coin Circle.

Police investigation on the death of the 15-year-old boy Sumanth, who had died recently in an unnatural manner while on the way to the temple, has been intensified as the post-mortem examination has revealed that Sumanth was murdered and suffered three severe blows on his head.
