COVID-19 cases in Dakshina Kannada cross 10k-mark; 228 new cases, four deaths on Saturday

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District on Saturday crossed the 10k-mark of the total number of cases reported in the district. With 228 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, the district now has reported 10,137 total cases of the deadly virus.

 


Two arrested while smuggling 49 kg Ganja in container truck in Udupi

Udupi: District Crime Information Bureau (DCIB) police on Saturday arrested two people who were reportedly selling Ganja drugs in a container truck. The police team has also seized 49 kg of Ganja drugs from the arrested accused.
