Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who contested from two assembly constituencies despite criticisms, tasted a humiliating defeat in Chamundeshwari constituency against GT Deve Gowda of JDS, but seen a strenuous victory against B Sriramulu of BJP in Badami constituency.
Siddaramaiah said that the Congress has already informed Deve Gowda about supporting the JDS. Even they have met Kumaraswamy and handed over a letter on extending their support to JDS, the leaders of which have also accepted, he added.
