Animal slaughter, meat sales prohibited in Bengaluru on Buddha Purnima

Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has banned the slaughter of animals and sale of meat in the city on May 12 in view of Buddha Purnima, officials said on Saturday.
