Puttur: A 63-year-old street vendor on Thursday morning committed suicide by jumping into a government well near his stall here in Puttur.

The special chartered flight arranged by SAQCO Contracting Company’s Althaf Ullal and Basheer Sagar from Dammam International Airport landed at the Mangaluru International Airport in the wee hours of Thursday with 175 stranded Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia.

Puttur: In an incident reported from Ishwaramangala near Puttur, a KSRTC bus overturned and crammed into a house here on Wednesday afternoon. The bus was reportedly heading towards Ishwaramangala from Puttur when the incident took place.
