Mangaluru's Hansel Joseph Sequiera gets Seva Medal on 88th Air Force Day

Group Captain Hansel Joseph Sequiera, aged 42 years was honoured with Yudh Seva Medal during a grand parade-cum-investiture ceremony held at the Air Force Station Hindon near Delhi to commemorate the 88th anniversary of the Indian Force. Indian Air Force Day is commemorated on 8 October every year to mark the foundation day of the Indian Air Force. The ceremony was attended by the top brass of Indian Air Force including the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria. Other notable dignitaries included the Chief of Defence Staff and the Army and Naval Chiefs.

Mangaluru: 6886 people in Dakshina Kannada District have so far been fined for not wearing masks in abidance with the government lockdown amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada on Monday reported 303 fresh cases of Coronavirus taking the total number of cases reported in the district to 26,832.
