Mangaluru: Mangaluru Police on Tuesday morning fired at a rowdy sheeter identified as Bhavith Raj after he assaulted Police Inspector to escape arrest.
Uppinangadi: In view of the misuse of the mobile phones by the students in private colleges in Puttur, the police on Monday raided various colleges and recovered 24 mobile phones from the students here. The police conducted the raids in order to implement the mobile ban norms effectively inside the college campuses.
