Champa, Chokkadi, Anagalli get Delhi Karnataka Sangha award

Writer Chandrashekar Patil, popularly known as Champa, Senior poet Subraya Chokkadi and Senior theatre artiste Suresh Anagalli were given Dr Sarojini Mahishi award, Dr Shivaram Karanth Award and Kannada Bharati Ranga Award respectively instituted by the Delhi Karnataka Sangha, said sangha president Vasanth Shetty Bellare.


MRPL flying ash problem in Jokatte-Kana again

The MRPL which has faced public resentment against flying ash for the last five-six years, has again releasing the flying ash for the last two-three days causing anger among nearby residents. As a result, it has caused air pollution in Jokatte and Kana near Surathkal.
