Mangaluru: Five activists of the Hindu Jagaran Vedike were arrested for allegedly shouting slogans against actor Prakash Rai during a public programme.

The district Special Court on Friday handed over journalist Chandra K Hemmadi (40) who was arrested on charges of sexually abusing the school boys, to police custody for three days for more investigation.
