The Kumble police have arrested a 24-year-old youth while transporting cannabis in a car at Chewari.

Following the death of Lakshmivara Tirtha Swamiji of Shiroor Mutt, Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji of Sode Mutt, the Dwandwa Mutt, kept all the valuables which were in the Moola Mutt, in the locker of Shiroor Mutt for safety purpose in front of the police on Wednesday.
