Shivamogga: A case of domestic violence has emerged from Hosanagara taluk, where a woman was allegedly assaulted by her husband and mother-in-law for not giving birth to a male child. The victim, identified as Suneetha, a resident of Arasalu village near Ripponpet town, has filed a police complaint detailing the physical and mental abuse she endured at the hands of her in-laws.
