In the background of Tuesday night’s incident of murder, where a BJP Yuva Morcha executive member was killed by a group of bike-borne men, section 144 has been imposed in the region. As a precautionary measure, certain schools have declared a holiday on Wednesday and some other shops have temporarily closed.
