Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District in a bid to cap the spread of Corona Virus has announced a one-week complete lockdown in the district starting July 15, 8 pm. The District Administration on Wednesday issued guidelines to be followed during the week-long lockdown.

Udupi: Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat, on Tuesday informed that all the borders of the district will be sealed down for 14 days starting Thursday 16 July, in a bid to stop the spread of Coronavirus in the District.
Udupi: A total of six COVID-19 cases have been reported from Brahammavara Taluk Monday. All the patients have been hospitalized and four houses have been sealed down.
Mangaluru: Corona patients will be treated free of charge at all medical college hospitals in the district, Kota Srinivas Poojary, district in-charge minister, has said.

Byndoor: Udupi District on Monday reported its fourth COVID-19 related death as a 70-year-old patient who was being treated at TMA Pai Hospital passed away on Monday here. The patient had reportedly tested positive for the virus 15 days ago.

Kasargod: 56 people on Sunday tested positive for Coronavirus in Kasargod District which included 41 cases wherein the patients were infected through primary contacts of earlier patients.
